WHAT I KNOW ABOUT LOVE

I'm only 22, Dolls, so I know that I'm no expert on love. But something that might surprise you is that I don't want to be an expert on love because if you've already mastered something, you might not have anything left to learn. And I want to spend a lifetime learning about love because what I do know is that love can be hard, but it can also be the most beautiful thing the world has to offer.
What I know about love is that it can feel like a high when you love somebody so much that you think your heart could burst because you can't find a place to go for all the love you have to give. But there's another side to that, a side in which you're afraid of just how much you love them, the lengths you would go to to make them safe, to keep them in your life, or to protect them from everything and anything bad. I know that feeling helpless will become an all-encompassing feeling, a water's surface that you'll drown beneath as the most beautiful person in the world to you falls down, struggles, or cries, and you can't save them. What I know about love is that it allows you to feel this feeling, the worst feeling in the world.
What I know about love is that I don't know if the euphoria is worth the agony.
What I know about love is that it doesn't come at a perfect time. Sometimes, of course, it feels perfect, but there will be times when you think, 'really?', 'right now?' And sometimes you will allow that to deter you from chasing a person, a dream, or a possibility. I don't think you should. Because what I know is that even when it feels like the wrong time, if something is right, then it truly is. You can make things work. And if puzzle pieces are there to fit, it might take some rearranging, but they will, in time, fit more perfectly than you thought you knew they knew how.
What I know about love is that you never have everything you need to know. It'll surprise you, it'll come when you least expect it, and it will wrap you in its loving arms to remind you of everything that is good about the world. Particularly, I've seen this amongst scenarios involving children. Children view the world so purely, and their insight into love is beautiful, I believe. They see love for what it is, and their use of hatred is mostly absent. Children remind me that love is precious, gentle and sacred. I know that with love, you should never assume you know everything there is to know because that is when you stop learning of, experiencing, and seeing it.
I know that the less you know, is the more you know, Dolls.
What I know about love is that what you love, who you love, and the places you love, they all change, evolve, and transform. You find love in small places one time and in big places the next. I know that love is an unfinished song and an incomplete poem. They are beautiful words that are just waiting to find their place in the world. You can't rely on your past knowledge to write the words in your future. You must always keep an open mind if you wish to reap the true benefits of love.
There is exceptional beauty in not having everything there is to know, to being an open foreigner, and a curious tourist.
It’s interesting to learn of other people’s findings on love; the things that have been retained in their hearts and memories over their lifetime. I often wonder about other people’s interpretations and assessments, so I hope more than anything you enjoyed learning of mine.
Kisses,
