MY LATEST BEAUTY TIPS

Being on vacation, I've been very obsessed with the on-the-go beauty aesthetic. This post is dedicated to all my secret bits and pieces I've collected along the way.

Block coloured pyjama pants are a godsend for travelling on aeroplanes and in airports because they pass for loungewear whilst additionally being ultra-comfy. They're simply perfect to feel calm, chilled and cozy. My latest ones I've been obsessed with are from Peter Alexander, and this is obviously because they're pink. This is a photo of me wearing them at an airport Starbucks, getting my much-needed morning coffee. I've linked them below for you, too, Dolls.

One of my favourite things about going away is choosing the nail design I’ll get for the trip. It’s a big decision because it has to be something that will pair with all the outfits I’ve chosen. Sometimes it’s easier to pick what nails I’m going to get and then pack afterwards to remove an added obstacle. I find French nails or a ballet slipper pink to be the safest options; however, sometimes I don’t want to get nails that I can get any other day. Sometimes I want to go for something a little unique or bold that gets me looking forward to my holiday. To achieve that goal, on this trip, I got a ballet slipper pink with ruby red gemstones. It honestly turned out perfectly because all of my outfits looked incredible with those colours and allowed me to do something out of the ordinary. It gave me a little confidence boost with every holiday photo I took.

They say diamonds are a girl's best friend, which is true, but I’d say makeup is a close second. Especially makeup from Chanel, the place I simply couldn’t walk past in duty-free. Although, because I still had a second layover in another country, I wasn’t allowed to purchase any, which, yes, Dolls, did my break my little makeup-loving heart in two. So, the next best thing was getting some photos of me wearing the perfect shade of pink, my favourite colour, which, of course, you already know! So this is my handy travel tip: if you find yourself in this situation, take a photo with the product applied to you, see if you love it, and if so, purchase it online or in the duty-free at your final destination.

Guess how many makeup bags I packed for my trip to the Bahamas? No, seriously, guess. It was three, Dolls. But don’t knock it until you hear my methodology… Hopefully, I can change your (now) damaged opinion of me! I dedicate my first makeup bag to all of my brushes. The second is for all my products: bronzer, highlighter, concealer, setting spray, heat protectant spray, blush and eyeshadow. My final makeup bag is the essentials for the plane. This one is the most important because everything has to be under a 100ml limit, as well as having everything I’m going to need to feel my absolute best. I take deodorant, perfume, lip balm (critical to remember for the dryness of the AC), bronzer, and finally, toothpaste and a toothbrush. This three-bag process may seem overkill, but it keeps this Doll feeling and looking her absolute best at all times of the holiday, so I'd say it's totally worth it.
‘MY LATEST BEAUTY TIPS’ is as thorough as I could possibly make it because I’m proud of how elaborate, though truly efficient, it is. My routine never fails me, and if I remember everything, I feel really confident, which is a great feeling when you're meeting old friends and meeting cute boys ;)
Kisses,
COS x
